Ophthalmologist Turnover

Prem Patel and colleagues published a study in the September 2023 edition of the journal, Ophthalmology. Their study suggests that one third of U.S. ophthalmologists had job turnover between 2014 and 2021.

Though I don’t know this for sure, it seems that this is decreased job stability compared to what it was a couple of decades ago. I anticipate that this is an increasing trend, and there won’t be the same job steadiness going forward as there was in the last century.
