Dr. Ajay Shalwala, MD is a highly trained ophthalmologist who provides state-of-the-art eye care. Having graduated summa cum laude from Yale University with a degree in Engineering, Dr. Shalwala is always interested in using the latest technology to help his patients.  At the same time, experience has taught the ophthalmology community that fads are part of the landscape of medicine.  Dr. Shalwala learned to balance his passion for using newly designed innovations with careful consideration to ensure he is doing the best for his patients at the world famous Wills Eye Hospital, the #1 Eye Hospital in America.
