Stay Nearsighted
Every day I have patients come into the clinic to discuss cataract surgery. One of the most important “tips” I have learned through the process of having patients navigate their cataract surgery is this: if you are nearsighted before cataract surgery, you should stay nearsighted after cataract surgery.
The ability to see up close without glasses is a valuable asset. People do not realize how valuable it really is, and they think that they want to be able to see far away without glasses…that is, until they cannot see up close the way they want to after surgery. Then, the remorse sets in…
Stay nearsighted!
