I recently heard another ophthalmologist who told me something that stopped me in my tracks. He said that ten years ago a patient tried to sue him for giving her too many wrinkles during cataract surgery. Obviously, this suit was unsuccessful. But what really happened? She really could see better, and she started noticing things that she didn’t notice before. Like wrinkles. Well, we know one thing for sure: the surgery was a great success because her vision got a whole lot better!
