Offices Reopening

As ophthalmology offices slowly start to open up to see more patients, we appreciate that our patients are understanding of all the precautionary measures that we have to take. Patients seem to understand that we need to limit the number of people in the building at any given time, which often requires having family members wait outside the clinic. It also means that we have to employ different schedules with fewer patients in order to maintain physical distancing. Patients also deal with the smell of disinfectant in the office due to the need to clean surfaces between each patient. We really appreciate patients adapting to the “new normal,” knowing that the safety of patients and staff is our aim.
